Focused competencies for thin film solar module production systems - Bystronic glass to cooperate with Jenoptik

(Jena) Neuhausen-Hamberg / Jena, 21.10.2008. With the launch of the first'laser product line, Bystronic glass and Jenoptik Automatisierungstechnik GmbH announced the start of their cooperation at the glasstec 2008. "We are glad to be able to bundle our competencies in the production of thin film solar modules from now on", Richard Jakob, CEO of the Bystronic glass Group, and Ulf Feistel General Manager of the Jenoptik Automatisierungstechnik GmbH agreed.

Jenoptik has won the "Best of West" award of SEMI, the global semiconductor industry association.

(Jena) The JENOPTIK-VOTAN^TM G Semi laser system for thermal laser beam separation, in particular of wafers (TLS dicing) was granted the award at SEMICON West in San Francisco yesterday.
